About Russell Family Farms
Russell Family Farms is located in the foothills of Morganton, North Carolina. Morganton is located between Asheville and Hickory along I-40. We are a small family farm that thrives for excellence through our 100% grass fed, chemical/medication/hormone free cattle and pasture raised pork, produce, honey, and eggs. We use rotational grazing techniques. Fresh deep well water is provided from frost-free water troughs. Our cattle are processed at about the tender age of 2 years. They are dry aged for 10 days, vacuum packed, stickered, and flash frozen in a USDA inspected facility to preserve its freshness. We support small to large families by splitting the cow into 4 equal parts. This way in every 1/4 you'll get approximately 120 lbs. +/- of beef with an assortment of all cuts and is affordable for everyone. Get as many 1/4 beef deals as you like. Orders for a side of beef (1/2) can be processed to the customer's specifications at NO extra cost. OUR FAMILY EATS WHAT WE GROW!!!!
Approximate weight is around 120 lbs. +/- for the 1/4 of the cow. You are buying actual weight of product. Each deal includes items such as tenderloins, rib eyes, T-bones (or) New York strips/Filets, sirloins, cube steak, sirloins tip roasts, bone-in chuck roasts, soup bones, stew beef & ground beef. We also raise pasture raised pork. We treat our pigs with the same treatment as we do our cattle and offer it in 1/2 pork packages. 1/2 pork packages average 60 lbs +/-. You'll receive in each package: Tenderloins, bone-in & boneless chops (1" thick), boston butts, hams (uncured), bacon (uncured) & mild breakfast sausage.
