About Herb Mountain Farm
Herb Mountain Farm has been growing and veggies, herbs since 1970 and is the oldest organic farm in Buncombe county. For decades we sold vegetables, herbs and flowers to markets and grocers and most recently transitioned the farm into a botanical sanctuary and educational center. We host an annual plant sale in May and have a farmstand April-October with perennials, produce, bouquets and herbs. The Farm is both a residential community and a plant and healing sanctuary that hosts workshops and offers dozens of native, edible & medicinal gardens to appreciate.

Farmstand is run on the honor system- cash only. April- October Mostly perennials but often produce, bouquets and herbs are sold.

Our Farm Offers:
A botanical sanctuary on a piece of land that has been eco-consciously stewarded for 50 plus years; a mile long nature trail and a hike to an escarpment that overlooks the Reems Creek Valley are accessible if coming for an Appalachian Tea Ceremony or other event hosted by us.
