Four Daughters Farm is a family-owned operation nestled in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains. The farm property has been in our family for four generations and is now under the management of the newest generation- the four (grand) daughters. We have several uniquely Appalachian offerings from Four Daughters Farm. First is our market garden, where we use regenerative agriculture practices to grow a variety of vegetables all year- from crispy lettuce in the spring, to heirloom tomatoes in the summer, spicy radishes in the fall and of course plenty of beautiful flowers, just to name a few! We focus on soil health to ensure the high nutrient density, and we NEVER use synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides. If we wouldn't drink it, we don't put it on the plants! Next, we have chicken and duck eggs from our farm-raised, free-range chicken and ducks. We also offer a variety of canned goods, from hot pepper jelly to blueberry preserves. Last but not least, we're pleased to offer upcycled crafts- items made from otherwise tossed-aside items, including reusable grocery bags made from feed bags!
We are so proud of our little farm, and we are so excited to see what happens in the next few years. In the future, we plan on offering grass-fed meats, spices, cut flowers and Christmas trees. Spring to Fall, you can find us at the Townsend Farmer's Market in the Trillium Cove Shopping Center on Saturdays from 9am to noon, and in Maryville at the Blount County Friends of the Library Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 9am to noon. You can also order produce for pick up online at our website. To sign up for our CSA, schedule a tour or for general questions about the farm, email [email protected] You can also stay at Four Daughters Farm in one of the two vacation rentals on the property!
