About Rayburn Farms
At Rayburn Farms we specialize in growing flavorful Ginger, Peppermint, Hibiscus and other specialty herbs primarily for the value-added sector. We mainly grow our crops for contract with Breweries, Tea Companies, Ice-Creameries and other confectioners. Both Lauren and Michael have been involved in agriculture from a young age. They are both graduates from the school of Agriculture at N.C.A & T.S.U. in Greensboro. The Rayburns also offer their services as consultants to small and up start farms and those interested in protecting and conserving their land. Starting in 2021 Rayburn Farms started making their own line of value added products made from the ingredients they grow on their farm in Barnardsville NC, these include infused sugars, hot cocoa mixes and popcorn seasoning. We offer our infused sugars, hot cocoas, popcorn, popcorn seasoning year round or while supplies are available. Fresh Ginger sales are from October 1st-November 15.
