About Hickory Nut Gap
At Hickory Nut Gap, we believe that the best-tasting and most nutritious meats come from healthy animals, humanely raised on high-quality pasture. Since 1916, we have been building community through agriculture. We offer 100% grassfed beef, pasture raised pork, and pasture raised chickens. We currently work with family farms throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky. We also raise animals on our farm in Fairview, NC. After more than a year of education and implementation of Ecological Outcome Verification monitoring systems in Fairview, North Carolina, Hickory Nut Gap announces certification as a Savory Institute Hub. As a Savory Hub, Hickory Nut Gap Farm becomes a regional learning center that brings the power of holistic management and farm ecological health monitoring to members of the region and community through its own unique impact plan which is supported by the Savory Institute and other fellow hubs around the world. Our Farm Store & Butchery here in Fairview is open Wednesday - Friday, 12pm - 5pm, and Saturday - Sunday, 10am-5pm to shop for cuts, roasts, grinds, housemade sausages, bacon, deli meats and local grocery goodies. Hickory Nut Gap has a variety of sampler boxes, case and half case offerings of Pasture Raised Pork and 100% Grassfed Beef offered for shipment. Shipments Arrive within 2 days once out for delivery, we ship orders out Tuesday-Thursday. Shipping radius map provided on our website. Wanting a regeneratively raised ham, tenderloin, corned beef or turkey for your Holiday Feast? You can place deposits and reserve one of our seasonal offerings for Farn Store pickup online!

The Hickory Nut Gap CSA Program is a great way to buy local, sustainable food directly from the farm at a 10% discounted price. By signing up, members enroll monthly and receive either 10 or 15 (approximate) lbs of a variety of grassfed beef, pastured pork, and pastured chicken.
