ShipShape Farmer operates a vegetable and flower garden on a 7 acre property with approximately 1 acre in production, a flock of egg layers that spend their time roaming the pasture area, and 3 goats that are more pet than livestock. We work hard to implement best management practices that allow the growing of food and flowers in a way that is healthy for both the land and consumer. Because the commitment to health of all is a top priority, you may find a "bug" or two as we choose to not spray our produce. You can find us at the Enka-Candler Tailgate Market on Thursdays (May-October) or you can sign up for a produce CSA and/or Flower CSA. Scheduled on-farm produce pickup is also welcome.
