ADDITIONAL INFO FOR POTENTIAL SUPPLIERS

Produce- We first seek to source local produce that is in season and grown using regenerative and sustainable methods. We promote certified organic produce that is grown according to organic standards, naturally grown & beyond organic, biodynamic, and IPM (Integrated Pest Management). Non-GMO and is a must. As variety is essential to our diets and taste buds, we will expand our reach beyond our area to source items that are in season elsewhere, such as citrus from Florida or avocados from Mexico. Priority is given to those who support sustainability and humanity. Meats, Dairy and Eggs- All meats and dairy products must meet strict animal welfare standards. Item items are pasture-raised, free-range, grass-fed and Humane Certified whenever possible. We avoid CAFOs (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations), and vendors that use antibiotics and hormones. Fish & Seafood - Sustainably wild caught or farm raised, owner/operated boats and ability to ensure traceability. Artisanal Goods - Our beverages, baked goods, pantry items and prepared meals are not exempt from our high standards. We support small companies that use real ingredients. No additives, preservatives, artificial colors or sweeteners, and prioritize fair trade and sustainably grown and sourced where applicable.
