Cowee Mountain Valley Farm is a small farmette, owned by the Suminski family. It is the home of the children's book character "Cowee Sam", who is the Great Pyrenees guardian dog in the Suminski Family Book Series. We press cider, grow blueberries, and make Balsam pillows from recycled Frasier Fir Trees. We raise chickens for eggs and hogs and a steer for meat. We also have Angora goats and sell skeins of mohair from their shearings. If available, we offer family farm tours upon request. We offer free-range eggs, a variety of Balsam Pillows, skeins of mohair and our published "Cowee Sam" book series.
