About Red Apple Barn
Enjoy a fun visit with your family&friends at the Red Apple Barn, near Ellijay in the North Georgia Mountains. Come and enjoy our apple pies, fritters, bread, caramel & candied apples, jams & jellies, honey and of course some cold apple cider. The farm has been in the family since 1927 and the first apple trees were planted in 1965. Pick your own apples, pumpkins and flowers are available on weekends in September and October. Take a tractor ride and farm tour to the apple orchard. U-pick times are Saturday 10:30am until 5:00pm and Sunday afternoons from 1:00-4:00pm. Weekdays can be scheduled for booked group tours by calling ahead. There are several picnic areas around the farm and playgrounds for the kids. Apple Barn hours are Monday through Saturday from 9am until 6pm and on Sunday from 1:00 until 5:30pm. Open August through December. Pecans and Christmas gifts available starting in November. Peaches are available in season. Red Apple Barn is located at 3379 Tails Creek Road, 3 miles west of Ellijay on Ga Hwy 282/US 76.

U-PICK
U-pick apples planned starting day is Labor Day weekend and runs through the Fall or until the apples are all picked. Sat. hours are 10:00 am-5 pm. Sun. hours are 1:00-4 pm. U-Pick flowers run through the Fall and Pumpkins in October. Weekday school and group tours are available for groups of 15 or more by calling 706-635-5898.
