REEMS CREEK NURSERY offers a beautiful selection of trees & shrubs, perennials, fruit trees & berries, native plants, veggie starts & herbs, annuals, tropicals, organic gardening supplies, and unique gifts. Many of our plants are grown at our Propagation Farm in the Reems Creek Valley. We are particularly proud of our in-house veggie starts and herbs, raised sustainably using organic fertilizers and organic pest control (if needed). We stock a broad selection of traditional garden favorites, including unusual and heirloom vegetable varieties (around 30 different tomatoes!). Additionally, we propagate many of our own perennials, annuals, and some trees & shrubs. During the holiday season, we offer locally-grown Christmas trees - live and fresh-cut - along with locally-grown fresh wreathes, garland, and greenery. The owners, the Penland family, have lived and farmed in north Buncombe County for generations, and have owned and operated Reems Creek Nursery since 1979. Just 10 minutes north of downtown Asheville and conveniently located near I-26, we are open ALL year. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff looks forward to meeting you! Open Mon-Sat: 9-6.

ROADSIDE INFORMATION
We offer a beautiful selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, fruits, native plants, veggie starts and herbs, annuals, and organic gardening supplies, and more at our Garden Center. Many of our plants are grown at the Penland family's Propagation Farm location. We are open ALL year, but our hours change seasonally. Winter hours 10am - 4pm through February.
Our store is open from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024.
