About Rocky Field Farm
Rocky Field Farm is a 275 acre beef cattle operation growing various forages and hay to support a brood cow herd of 55 head. We specialize in all natural Angus cattle free of hormones and antibiotics, no herbicides or pesticides are used in our pastures. Our retail product is currently sold in East Tennessee supporting the locally grown foods movement. Great pride is taken in the humane treatment of our animals and in our environmentally responsible production practices. Wayne was named 2019 Farmer of The Year for Greene County by Kingsport Times/Johnson City Press. Our farm was established in 1796 and with our 2009 inclusion into the Land Trust for Tennessee's Conservation Easement program, we hope it will continue as a thriving family owned enterprise for many years to come.
