About Overmountain Vineyards and Winery
Overmountain Vineyards is a boutique winery that sits on a 70 acre family owned farm in Tryon, North Carolina. OMV grows 18 acres of french vinifera focusing primarily on Petit Manseng, an elegant aromatic white originally from southwest France, as well as red varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Two acres of organically grown blueberries are also under cultivation for future winemaking. We use primarily estate grown fruit.
Frank Lilly, Winemaker and his daughter Sofia, Asst. Winemaker focus on developing artisanal wines which are hand crafted and distinctive. At Overmountain Vineyards innovation is at the core of everything we do. We create old world style wines with the latest in modern innovative techniques both in the vineyards as well as in the winery.

ROADSIDE INFORMATION
Overmountain Vineyards Tasting Room is situated in a quaint cottage overlooking the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains right off of Sandy Plains Rd. We strive to give first-time visitors and regulars alike the best winery experience sharing our knowledge about everything from our grapes and winemaking philosophies to the areas rich viticultural history. All wines are available for purchase as well as a variety of cheeses and crackers.

Luxury Villas
Our luxury villas have contemporary decor and are very spacious. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine on your private patio! Villas sleep four guests (in two bedrooms) and have two full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. Villas have a private driveway and free parking for your convenience. The villas and vineyards are located approximately five minutes from Tryon International Equestrian Center and an hour from either Greenville, SC, or Asheville, NC.
