About Rooster Head
Here at Rooster Head we specialize in sustainable farming practices, utilizing Holistic management practices. We are a family owned farm offering pasture raised poultry, free range eggs, cut flowers, pork and firewood.
We are an open farm, meaning anyone is welcome at anytime. Our mission is not to feed the world, but to offer superior quality food to our local community. Starting in the fall of 2021 we also restart our pasture raised pigs, and offer starter pullets incubated here on the farm.
We sell our pasture raised chicken, our pork products, our eggs, local vegetables, organic herbs, refrigerator is stocked with local ferments/ cheeses/dipping sauces/ drinks, and hand made local artisan gifts. Store hours: March- September Monday-Saturday 11-6
October- February Wednesday- Saturday 11-6
We are always willing to try new things so if you have a request or a special need please let us know.

Offering meats, eggs, raw dairy (pet's), produce, ferments, and gourmet products. We also are offering free Hunger Coalition of shelf-stable foods from the Transylvania County Hunger Coalition. Store hours: March- September Monday-Saturday 11-6, and October- February Wednesday- Saturday 11-6.
