About Old Rich Valley Farm
We are a small family farm in SWVA were we raise pastured chicken, beef, and pork. None of our animals receive antibiotics or added growth hormones, and we use non-GMO feed. Our chicken is seasonal (April-September) where we move the chickens to fresh grass daily. We process our chickens on the farm. Our pigs and cows are rotated to fresh pasture often. Our goal is not only to raise and produce the highest quality meat, but also to be good stewards of our land. We don’t use chemical fertilizers. We are working to create more soil instead of deplete it. We feel there is no better way to raise our kids than out working/learning on the farm. They are growing up knowing where their food comes from and excited to be a part of it. We’d love for you to come out and visit the farm. We now offer a monthly meat herd share subscriptions OR you can still purchase individual cuts as well as bulk options. We also have a kitchen on our farm where we cook smoked meats (ready to heat and eat for a quick meal), real chicken and beef bone broth, pork rendered lard, and more! Order online through website. We offer monthly delivery sites in Marion, Chilhowie, Bristol, Kingsport, and Knoxville. We have a weekly delivery to Abingdon Farmers Market. Quarterly deliveries to Farmville, VA, Charlotte, NC, and Myrtle Beach, SC.
