About The Bird & The Beasts' Farmstead

The Bird & The Beasts' Farmstead is a small, first generation, young-farmer, family-owned farm. We live, cook & grow vegetables in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. Our farm production is a beautiful 1-acre plot located in Weaverville, NC. We are a "Farmher" and Him team with two young kids who are integral to the forming of our farm's values and principles. At The Bird & The Beasts’ Farmstead we deeply value high-quality, high nutritional-value food, regenerative agriculture and family-centered work/life. We consider our surrounding community in WNC as an extension of our own family and strive to provide access to fresh vegetables of the highest quality. We are careful to utilize growing practices that nurture the land through soil building, restorative, low to no-till & plant-based principles. We grow all our produce using only organic, non-GMO, open-pollinated seed and without the use of synthetic chemicals, harmful pesticides, or animal by-products. We are introducing a Traditional CSA, a Market-Share Style CSA, and a Work-Trade CSA in 2020. We also sell our vegetables through Mountains Foods and at the East Asheville Tailgate Market.
