About Pilot Mountain Pears
Western North Carolina's largest U-Pick Asian Pear orchard. 50 acre home to 5000+ Asian Pear trees with on-site bakery and store. Open late August to early October. Take a leisurely stroll through our orchards and pluck Asian pears straight from the branch. Stop by our bakery where we offer Fried Apple Pies, Baked Apple Turnovers and Asian Pear Slushies or visit our storefront where we offer a variety of decor, local produce, jellies, jams and locally made honey.
