Hominy Valley Homestead is nestled in the Pisgah mountain valley of the Blue Ridge Parkway of western North Carolina. About 25 minutes west of Asheville sits a Sears Roebuck brick kit house that’s close to 100 years old. Bought in 1989 by Tammy Warren, a 6th generational farmer of WNC area, for expanding family purposes the house wouldn’t become a homestead until her own children were old enough to want to partake on family traditions while starting their own. Here at the farm we ethically raise Bees, Chickens, Cows, Donkeys, Ducks, Heritage Hogs, and Sheep.
