I am a former Executive Chef, who worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. I became disgusted with the Global Agricultural Food System, where most of our food is shipped to consumers from thousands of miles away. And grown using unknown methods, which often include harsh chemical pesticides and fertilizers, along with heavy tillage which degrades the land. I grow high-quality salad mix and baby root vegetables, along with seasonal fruits and vegetables such as heirloom tomatoes, European cucumbers, ginger, turmeric, garlic, and zucchini. I use no-till methods of farming and use no chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Instead I focus on soil health, diversity, and using nature as a model to grow high-quality produce. Working with nature, rather than against it.
