Moon Rabbit Farms is a multicultural community farm in Marshall, NC, focusing on growing specialty produce from global cultures such as: molokhia, Motherland okra, Georgia and North Carolina Candy Roaster squashes, White Eagle corn, epazote, chamoe melons, ginger, turmeric, Korean sweet potatoes, coriander, sesame, Moon and Stars watermelon, Guatemalan green Ayote squash, Chinese cabbages, heirloom tomatoes from around the world, Thai basil, and numerous hot peppers such as habanero, scotch bonnet, fish peppers, gochu peppers, bird's eye chili, and Indian jwala peppers. Our main focuses are Cherokee heirlooms, foods of the African diaspora, and Korean and Indian fruits, spices, and vegetables. We also offer small-batch tea blends with the herbs and flowers we grow on the farm, as well as hot sauces, pickles, ferments, and salsas made from our vegetables.
