About Found Ice Cream

Found Ice Cream was started with our love of foraging, wild ingredients, and eating ice cream. The mountains surrounding Asheville are magical, diverse, and dense with flavor. Our favorite part of creating a wild-harvested product is immersing ourselves in the forests and mountains of Southern Appalachia as we create new flavors. We wanted more people to experience this and thought ice cream was the perfect way to make the natural world more accessible to everyone. We have a wide variety of seasonally rotated flavors based off of the freshest foraged plants and fungi. Found Ice Cream will bring the taste of wild Appalachia to you with ingredients like Spicebush, Hickory Nut, Sochan, Paw Paw, Sassafras, and even Chantrelle.
