Lilou, a French brasserie, opened January 2024. Helmed by Chef Benjamin Tilatti, who was born and raised between Gascony and the Basque Country in the very southwest of France. Lilou will serve modern interpretations of classic fare as well as dishes inspired by his grandmother’s kitchen. Knoxville hospitality couple Aaron Thompson and Jessica King, who own and operate the acclaimed Brother Wolf aperitivo bar and Osteria Stella, also own and operate Lilou. Chef Benjamin’s creations are complemented by an exclusively French wine list that will represent each of France’s wine producing regions, as well as cocktails powered by French spirits and modifiers. Lilou is located at 428 South Gay St. in the heart of downtown Knoxville.
