About Bee. honey+hive

Tucked into a valley along the edge of Pisgah National Forest, the town of Brevard, NC, is surrounded by natural beauty. Here, amidst vibrant wildflowers, dense forests, and clear mountain streams, we care for 200 colonies of honeybees spread across several locations. This region, known as one of the most biodiverse on Earth, boasts temperate rainforests and rich river bottoms filled with flowering trees and plants. Our bees thrive in this environment, gathering nectar and pollen from a diverse array of blooms. From sunrise to sunset, they work diligently to create honey that reflects the unique character of this remarkable area. We embrace their natural rhythms, behaviors, and lifecycle to produce a variety of hive-based products. Specializing in pure, raw honey, we harvest twice a year. In June, we collect our Wildflower honey, and in early August, we gather our Sourwood honey, each batch capturing the essence of the season.
