Our apple orchard is one of the few remaining in production in this area. We grow over 40 varieties of other chemical-free fruits and vegetables in greenhouses and a few acres of fields. The farm is managed by farmer Ignacio Perez, who has a degree in Organic Agriculture from his homeland of the Dominican Republic. Prior to Crooked Oak, Ignacio was the farm manager for Eden Valley Wellness Institute in Loveland, Colorado. His experience and skill is a gift to have here in Appalachia. While Crooked Oak is not certified organic, we guarantee poison-free produce because we believe it is our way of life. The farm is not open to the public. We sell through a few online markets (clemsonareafoodexchange.com and northeastlocallygrown.net) and health food stores (Yonder in Franklin, NC and Holistic Mountain Market in Clayton, GA). Stay informed of farm tours, volunteer dates, and harvest updates through our social media!
