About HERBalachia

HERBalachia is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich herbal traditions of the Appalachian region through immersive, hands-on education. We offer a variety of programs, including our 7 month in-person Herbalist Lifestyle Program and the Advanced Medical Herbalism Program, which combine classroom learning with field experiences to help individuals safely and sustainably work with plants for health and wellness. In addition, we host community events like the free Sassafras Moon Herbal Festival, workshops, and seasonal gatherings to foster connection and learning.
