At Wild Embers we believe our job is to steward our land to the best of our ability. We are a small farm focused on sustainable, local food systems. We strive for quality, not quantity. We save seeds, creating our own unique hybrids as well as saving the true genetics. With a love for herlioom cultivars, and use only organic practices. We don't belive in spraying our food with harmful chemicals. We believe in crop rotation and building healthy soils through making compost and introducing beneficials while building a diverse ecosystems for pollinator diversity. Everything we grow is grown and gathered by hand. We also raise heritage breed chickens they're fed only certified organic feed, and produce from local grocers. Our hens are rotated on pasture and through woodland areas. We love our flock and hope to one day be able to share these breeds with others.
