Faith Mountain Farm is a family farm owned and operated by James and Shannon Wilkes along with their eight children, spouses, and grandchildren Margaret (and Hudson Barry, Roxanna, Ethan), Galen (and Victoria, Elanor, Jack), Sullivan, Israel, Lillian, Zion, Oliver and Vivian. Depending on the time of year and our current interests and energy, we keep a flock of laying hens that lay big brown and blue eggs, raise pastured pork and poultry, manage a sideliner beekeeping operation producing various honey varieties including prized sourwood, and produce our famous granola, muffins, scones, chewy balls and other baked goods including gluten free options. Honeybees are a big part of the landscape with hives on the farm and scattered about the High Country and foothills. Growing season brings numerous vegetables and rows and rows of sunflowers for selling at the market.
