About Addison Farms Vineyard
Addison Farms Vineyard is a family-owned vineyard and winery. We are in Leicester, NC, 14 miles northwest of Asheville, NC on NC Hwy 63. Our family has farmed this piece of property for over 80 years, raising tobacco, cattle and other crops. In 2009, Addison Farms planted the first acre of grapevines to start our vineyard. Additional plantings were completed in 2010-2015; the vineyard now covers ~6 acres. The vineyard is at an elevation between 2250' and 2300'. Current varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, and Petit Manseng. Our tasting room was completed in late 2012. Our Farm Offers:
We opened the Addison Farms Vineyard tasting room in late 2012. At the tasting room, guests can taste and purchase Addison Farms Vineyard wines. We welcome those interested in learning more about viticulture or our farm to visit. Reservations for our guided tasting are strongly recommended and reservations are required for the Winemaker's Tour.
