THE ITALIAN APRON

Chef and Owner Kim Fontinell has over 25 years' experience in restaurant management operations and the hospitality industry. The Italian Apron is a branded company that represents heart and excellence, and is a certified Woman Owned Enterprise. The business began as a food truck in 2019, have been regular vendors at our local farmers markets since 2021 and in 2023 we were proud to open our own storefront location in Maryville: LaCucina I The Italian Apron Marketplace. Utilizing local farmers whenever possible, we provide a variety of fresh, homemade pasta including our own delicious recipe of gluten-free; we also have hand-crafted pastas such as gnocchi and ravioli all made with local farm fresh eggs. All these pair with our scratch-made sauces including a classic basil pesto with local basil, marinara, vodka and a savory white sauce. We make our own Roman style pasta dough and pizza sauce for all your at-home pizza making skills. We also provide our signature award-winning handmade meatballs, and fresh, homemade family meals that are ready to bake.
