The Community Table is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide nutritious meals to our neighbors in need in a welcoming environment. Since 1999, our vision has been that no one in Jackson County, NC goes to bed hungry. We are more than a soup kitchen, more than a food pantry. Through our partnership with MANNA Food Bank, and the with the ongoing support of our community, we are a powerful resource for those in need. Meals are served on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:00pm-4:30pm. Everyone is welcome and there is never a fee. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, so come enjoy a nutritious home-cooked meal. Meals are made from locally sourced produce and meats. Our food pantry provides groceries for home use (Jackson County, NC residents only, every 2 weeks) on the same days between 11:00am-4:30pm.
