About Hickory Nut Gap
At Hickory Nut Gap, we believe that the best-tasting and most nutritious meats come from healthy animals, humanely raised on high-quality pasture. Since 1916, we have been building community through agriculture. We offer 100% grassfed beef, pasture raised pork, and pasture raised chickens. We currently work with family farms throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky. We raise animals at the farm that started it all in Fairview, NC. As a Savory Hub, Hickory Nut Gap Farm becomes a regional learning center that brings the power of holistic management and farm ecological health monitoring to members of the region and community through its own unique impact plan which is supported by the Savory Institute and other fellow hubs around the world. Our Farm Store & Butchery here in Fairview is open Wednesday - Sunday, 10am - 6pm to shop for cuts, roasts, grinds, housemade sausages, bacon, deli meats and local grocery goodies.
