About Clear Creek Cattle Company NC LLC

Clear Creek Cattle Company has been a dream slow to come to fruition. As young farmers, we have dreamed of a cattle farm in the mountains of North Carolina that we call home. Farming to us, is a way of life and provides a home and experience we want to offer our children. Memories we create walking through the pasture as a family, petting new baby calves, and naming and caring for each animal will be treasured by our family forever.

We have carefully raised a sound, gentle herd of Hereford cows and chosen a top-quality Black Angus bull to bring the best beef possible to your family and table. High quality food is a priority in our home and we desire to make it available to our community. Due to the requirements of the FDA surrounding food labeling, we ask that you talk to us about how we treat and feed our cattle. Our meat is packaged and dry aged by Mays Meats here in North Carolina. We take the extra time and money to allow our beef to “hang out” in a climate-controlled cooler for a minimum of 2 weeks. This adds a greater concentration of flavors as excess evaporates and enzymes break down the meat, leaving you with a more tender finished product. We think that is worth the extra time and effort. We promise that what you put on your table with our beef is what we feed our family as well. We appreciate your trust and do not take your business lightly. Please be aware that we must charge a 2% sales tax to be in compliance with our North Carolina Meat Handling License.

Please also be aware that because we are just starting out, we have a limited quantity of each cut and it will be sold on a first come first serve basis. As we progress through our beef sales, we ask that you give us your honest feedback. Would you like to buy a share in a beef and be able to choose your own cuts with the processor?
