We are a small, family owned and operated creamery that focuses on producing exceptional handcrafted cow milk cheeses. We work closely with the dairy farm that provides our raw cows milk for cheese production. We transport the milk to our creamery to produce a variety of styles of cheese including fresh, blue, washed rind and hard pressed cheeses. We make both raw milk and pasteurized varieties. Our signature cheeses include Chocolate Lab, Drovers Road, Ridgeline, and Bear Wallow as well as limited runs of special cheeses and seasonal selections. We handcraft a carmelized cows milk sauce (dulce de leche) called Carmoolita that is cooked slowly over a flame in a copper pot. Find us at many of Asheville's great restaurants or visit us at the big white barn where the cheeses are made. The cheese shop at the creamery is open on Thursdays from 3pm to 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays 11am to 5pm.
