Nestled in The High Country of Western North Carolina in Valle Crucis, Sunshine Cove Farm is a small-scale farm with a big mission. We are working to build local resilience in our mountain community by finding ways to grow A LOT of nutritious food on just a small piece of land- all year-long!
Specializing in the production of small-size and unique produce that both require fewer resources to produce and pack a big nutritional punch, we provide a broad spectrum of Microgreens, Shoots, Edible Flowers, Specialty Vegetables, & Quail Eggs.
Sunshine Cove Farm has served as the premier provider of microgreens in the Southeast region for over a decade. Operated by owner/farmer Larson Smith and his crew, the farm continues to expand offerings while maintaining a commitment to the highest standards of freshness and flavor. We grow over 40 different varieties of microgreens, shoots, & edible flowers; including many hard to find cultivars! All are available individually or featured in our gourmet specialty mixes and custom blends. All products are soil-grown, cut to order, washed, and ready to eat.
You can find our products through our online farm stand, at Watauga County area farmers' markets, and on plates in the regions' finest restaurants.
