We are a teaching and touring homestead practicing no til, organic growing. Our Farm-to-Table brunch and lunch programs include workshops on food abundance in difficult conditions. Guided tours are also available every Friday and Saturday. Please book through our website. On our small holding (half an acre) we grow paw-paws, pears, peaches, apples, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, goji and elderberries. Our potager garden produces abundant vegetables, flowers and herbs. We are a closed-loop permaculture and polyculture homestead. We use no pesticides - ever. Not even the organic ones. We raise chickens and ducks and are planning to add rabbits. I am a certified advanced North Carolina gardener who loves sharing ways for other growers to get off the "fertilizer and pesticide" treadmill.

Because we grow year round, our Winter CSA offers fresh, non-certified organic produce, eggs, breads and hearty soups during months when most farmers are inactive. We deliver in Yancey and Mitchell counties.
Pick up in Burnsville is Saturday in the parking lot of Hearth Glass from 12:00 to 1:00. We partner with other local growers/producers who offer their products through email pre-order. Please contact us for details. Pick up in Bakersville, Spruce Pine and Micaville is available. Please contact us for details.
